With the floodlights already switched off and the field thrown into darkness, Nike sabotage the streetlights to drop the 'Pitch Dark' FootballX collection to pull off complete blackout mode.
The 'Pitch Dark' shadow has crept across Nike's small-sided football line-up to create a trio of hi-collared Proximo silhouettes – the MagistaX, MercurialX and HypervenomX. Each shoe replicates the design of the cleated edition but equips itself for the demands of street football with protection in areas prone to abrasion and a turf soleplate designed for use on street or artificial surfaces. Nike have taken their FootballX collection to an elite level since the introduction of their Dynamic Fit Collar technology and the latest collection to match the on-pitch range is more proof, if it were needed, how seriously the brand take the rise of futsal.
The days of takedown futsal shoes are long gone and if the cage is your stage then Nike have got your back. Three of the most advanced silhouettes to have ever graced a court, playground or pavement and smothered in darkness. Black boots were cool, they're still cool and they'll always be nothing less than cool. There's no arguing that.
