East London provided a playground of power this week as PUMA showcased their latest evoPOWER Vigor 1 football boots with the help of Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Petr Čech.
A new era for the silo was marked with a power party hosted by PUMA and attended by a mixture of media, influencers and Premier League footballers, all of whom laced up in the "Gecko Green" launch colourway to put the new innovation through its paces in a series of challenges centred round power and accuracy.
The PUMA evoPOWER Vigor 1 has been introduced to the collared, one-piece construction movement and packs a far more streamlined feel – a result of the biggest overhaul on the silo to date. The event PUMA put on consisted of drills where the players had to pick out top corners and targets through an array of distractions and obstructions, as well as power tests where Giroud led the way.
A strong start to 2017 from PUMA, and hands down their best evoPOWER boot of the series with relevant tech upgrades throughout. The launch edition of the PUMA evoPOWER Vigor 1 in "Green Gecko" will be worn on-pitch by PUMA evoPOWER regulars such as Olivier Giroud and Mario Balotelli, and new PUMA ambassadors, Petr Čech and Marc Bartra.
