Nike drop a notion for motion to close out the 2017/18 season with a boot collection inspired by one of the brand's most successful series of recent years. Landing as the 'Motion Blur' pack and sitting across all four leading Swoosh silos, it's a quartet of characterful colour.
Borrowing shades of the EURO 2012 'Clash Pack' it's a collection that lives strong in the memory with a simple but devastatingly effective set of visuals. The 'Clash Pack' dominated the EURO 2012 Championships in Poland and Ukraine with each Nike silo instantly recognisable thanks to its colour coded heel on white uppers. An almost video-game-esque concept to determine positions.
Rather than solid block half-and-half colours found on the 2012 collection, Nike have dropped a steady gradient on the Mercurial and more subtle colouring on the Magista and Tiempo. The Hypervenom boasts the most colour with a combination of "White/Photo Blue", the Mercurial combines "White/Race Pink", while the Magista takes on a "White/Volt" design, leaving the Tiempo being picked out by a "White/Electro Green" wrap.
Set to be worn by a number of key Nike professionals throughout the end of season rush, the 'Motion Blur' pack has already been worn by Neymar, and other high profile players are expected to follow in their respective silos now that the collection has officially dropped. Pick your colour, pick your silo.
