Nike Launch The Kim Jones x Mercurial Superfly 360

Nike kick off their 2018 collaboration game with creative flair as the Swoosh team up with renown fashion designer Kim Jones for a special edition twist on the Mercurial Superfly 360. Restricted in numbers and set to be worn by CR7 against PSG on March 6.

Jones is the Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton and brings a fashion flip to the new-generation silhouette. Having grown up in Africa, following his hydrogeologist father to Kenya and Botswana, Jones takes inspiration from his admiration of animals for his Mercurial mash-up. “The cheetah is the fastest land animal, so it makes complete sense as an inspiration for me,” he says.

The cheetah has played a leading role in the launch campaign of the Mercurial Superfly 360, and is reminiscent of the signature Safari-print that Nike have previously used on the Superfly series. As well as the feline takeover, Jones also slaps his name across the stunning soleplate and 'Mercurial' branding on the heel, and introduces white Swooshes on the upper.

The box and accompanying bag are scattered with the same distinctive print, to give those lucky enough to snag a pair a real sense of exclusivity. Cristiano Ronaldo intends to wear the Mercurial Superfly 360 x Kim Jones against PSG in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 on March 6.

The Kim Jones x Nike Mercurial Superfly 360 will be available exclusively at the Nike Store Paris Champs Elysees and on nike.com during halftime of the PSG vs Real Madrid game.
