adidas Reveal Customised Glitch Skins for World Cup Players

Glitch up, look shark. Ahead of the second round of World Cup 2018 group games adidas have created individually customised Glitch skins for Benjamin Mendy, Presnel Kimpembe, and Paulo Dybala.

Following on from the recent release of the Glitch World Pack, adidas have given three of their hottest Glitch prospects in Russia signature skins to wear in their next group games. Each of the skins are designed to reflect the characteristics and personalities of the three players and will only be worn by the individuals. Unfortunately they won't be available for purchase.

French duo Presnel Kimpembe and Benjamin Mendy will be pushing for an appearance against Peru on Thursday, and if they do so they'll both be wearing their bespoke designs. Kimpembe's new skin is titled ‘The Lion’ and features a roaring lion graphic to represent his aggressiveness and leadership at the back.

Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy opts for ‘The Shark’ which features a dramatic graphic design of a shark’s open mouth on the skin. Both skins for Mendy and Kimpembe also feature heat reactive technology, changing colour as they heat up.

The final skin of the collection is dished out to Paulo Dybala. The Argentinean midfielder has received a design that adidas are calling ‘The Jewel’, featuring a colourful jewelled pattern to reflect his creative and stylish game.

Strong showing, that. We're all over Dybala's design. As previously mentioned, these skins will not be for sale. But, you can still get hold of the World Pack, which features skins designed for Germany, France and England, as well as two additional skins that celebrate the vibrant culture of the host nation Russia.

The adidas Glitch skins are still only available via the adidas Glitch App.
