Umbro have made their first moves of 2019 by brushing up the fourth generation Velocita boot in a "Black/White/Marine Green" colour combination to land as the Double Diamond's next on pitch design.
The colour update complements the full release of the laceless leather Medusae III boots which were unveiled in October 2018 but only hit shelves this month. The Medusae III set an early bench mark in terms of laceless leather football boots and players such as Pepe have moved into the silo, but it's the Velocita that's the more established of the two.
West Ham United's Michail Antonio will slip into the new colourway throughout February as Umbro continue to look to add to their squad of elite players during 2019. The colourway has us thinking back to the Mercurial Superfly IV with its graphic pattern, and that ain't a bad thing. A solid little addition, this.
