PUMA Launch The ONE 5.1 "Trailblazer" For WWC19

PUMA are set to equip their leading female players with a brand new set of wheels for this summer’s World Cup in France, with the launch of the all new ONE 5.1 "Trailblazer", which will also be joined by a colour update for the Future.

The Trailblazer is the latest evolution of the PUMA ONE football boot, and it’s set to be exclusively worn by PUMA’s leading female players throughout this summer’s World Cup. Before that though, it will debut on the feet of Olympique Lyon players Ada Hegerberg, Eugénie Le Sommer and Saki Kumagai in the Champions League final against Barcelona on 18 May.

The PUMA ONE Trailblazer has been designed specifically for the women’s game, and it benefits from the combination of PUMA’s new lightweight stabilising technology, SPRINTWEB, along with premium K-Leather to create the perfect balance of speed, agility, and touch. A combination of the evoKNIT sock and the FUSEFIT lacing system offers more lacing options and creates a supportive and snug fit around the ankle.

It’s all presented in a strong look that sees a tonal burgundy graphic working its way down the lateral side of the boot, interrupted only by the textured Formstripe. The solid burgundy collar is offset by the clean white K-leather on the forefoot and medial side. The burgundy and white are mixed on the underside, providing some lighter hues across the soleplate.

The ONE Trailblazer is joined by a colour update for the FUTURE, which sees a white base combined with some pink pops throughout, most noticeably on the PUMA logo and on the soleplate. There's no new tech here though, just a fresh new look for France. Unlike the ONE Trailblazer though, this version of the Future will not be available for retail.
