Getting a fresh look ahead of the new season, adidas wrap the X 19+ in a stunning black, blue and gold look as part of the ‘Inner Game’ pack, giving the next-gen speed silo only its second colourway since its release at the beginning of May.
The new generation X 19+ snuck under the radar last month as part of the ‘302 Redirect’ pack, overshadowed slightly by the big changes to the new-look Nemeziz. The X’s changes were, by comparison, minor, finely tuning and refining the boot for another campaign of speed. And now it’s these two boots that team up for the ‘Inner Game’ pack, adidas highlighting their two most recently updated silos in the most crowd-pleasing of combinations.
The ‘Inner Game’ X takes a black core that’s interrupted below the collar by blue stripes throughout the new X-Layskin. Through this you can also see hints of gold shining through from inside. Like the Nemeziz, it’s the gold detailing that’s the standout feature here; the shimmering soleplate, heel cup and Three Stripes instantly catching the eye and adding to the overall allure of the boot. Blue stud tips in the forefoot and the gold Three Stripes on the vamp tie the aesthetics of the boot together nicely, putting this right up there on any list of most desirable boots for SS19. Ready for the kicker though? Unlike the Nemeziz, the X is currently only available in the U.S. It will be available in Europe later this summer. Good luck impatiently waiting for that...
