Stripping things back to their simplicity, Umbro launch the UX Accuro 3 and the Medusae 3 in a simple, sleek black and white colourway, offering a more traditional look for the start of the 2019/20 season.
Umbro recently launched the all-new UX Accuro 3 in a limited edition orange colourway that paid tribute to the key D3O technology of the boot. But now they’ve released it in a far more classic black look, which pours focus over the forefoot detailing. D3O absorbs impact and dissipates energy, offering increased control and comfort, and the black colourway really makes the D3O cage across the forefoot standout, while the tech also features in a panel on the medial side. In matte black, the Pro Stance soleplate is one of the cleanest seen, with only the four white stud execution popping.
The UX Accuro is joined in the shadows by the laceless Medusae 3. The overall look here is similar to the original launch colourway of the third gen boot, however Umbro strip the colour right back, restricting the white to only the Double Diamonds, a feature that appears on both the Medusae and the Accuro. As a point of difference, the Medusae’s soleplate has more of a shimmer to it, but that doesn’t detract from the low-key appeal of the boot. Season starts in shadow for Umbro, and we're all over the classic vibe dripping off both boots.
