Kylian Mbappé's first ever signature Nike Mercurial series has dropped in stores today ahead of the man himself debuting them in Paris Saint-Germain's final Champions League group game against Galatasaray at the Parc des Princes tonight.

Headlining the full collection is the Nike Mercurial Superfly VII Mbappe Elite football boot which pays homage the player's home district of Bondy in Paris. Following in the footsteps of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Neymar, Mbappé becomes the latest Nike icon to receive his own signature boot series; a marker of how the brand position the Frenchman moving into a new decade.

Special gold details, including a silhouette of the district on the toe and the number 93 (the code of Bondy), celebrate the Parisian district where Kylian Mbappé was born. Raised text on the gold Swoosh reads Nike x Mbappé x Bondy, while a Mercurial M highlights Mbappé's name on the heel, which is nice little coincidental addition.

Two stars on the collar represent France's World Cup successes and the French tricolor flag celebrate his national pride. As far as signature boot designs go, it's got all the right ingredients to separate it from a standard release. Mbappé has already achieved so much in his short career and Nike reckon the best is yet to come as they propel their man into the elite category of Swoosh legends. The twenties are Mbappé to own.
