Not content with just the one recent colour update for their lineup, New Balance once again dip into the realms of limited edition releases, with the ‘Sweet Chaos’ pack seeing clean and crisp new whiteout looks for the Furon 6+ and Tekela v3.
There’s no stopping New Balance right now. Their impressive player recruitment drive continues to gather pace, with the news Bukayo Saka has joined the brand followed by rumours that Raheem Sterling may be the next athlete to sign with them intensifying. Add to them Eberechi Eze and numerous other exciting young players and you can start to see what we mean. But its not just on the player front that they’re currently smashing it, with the launch of the newly tweaked Furon 6+ ‘Lead the Hunt’ and Tekela v3 getting a fresh new colour up and even an alternate leather options. And now those choices are joined by a premium limited edition release, dubbed ‘Sweet Chaos’.
We got a sneak preview of ‘Sweet Chaos’ last week when New Balance bestowed upon Man City Women’s Rose Lavelle her latest signature edition. It took what we now know is the Sweet Chaos Tekela v3 base and added the USWNT star’s signature details for her own unique look.
So what’s ‘Sweet Chaos’ all about then? According to New Balance, it’s “Inspired by the idea that pressure is privilege and chaos is just plain fun. ‘Sweet Chaos’ is a nod to the players that find a way through the noise to perform on the biggest stage.” Got that? Good. With no tech upgrades from what has come recently before, what it ultimately is from an aesthetic perspective is a completely clean and crisp “White/Reflective Silver” look for the Furon 6+ and Tekela v3. Fresh and ready for the return of football.
