Mizuno Drop The Limited Edition Morelia Wave

Commemoratinng the history and heritage of Mizuno Football and the iconic wave technology that has been used in Mizuno footwear over the last 30 years, the Japanese craft masters launch the limited edition Mizuno Morelia Wave.

Originally created in 2003, the Morelia Wave was the merger of two great footballs boots, the Morelia ll and the Wave Cup, combined to commemorate the iconic Wave technology that combined two essential elements: cushioning and stability. Now that classic boot back in collectors form, coated in a special edition “White/High Risk Red/Blue” colourway to give it an added differential from the OG. But that aside, this is an incredibly faithful recreation.

The Morelia Wave is part of the ‘Made in Japan’ series and is crafted by hand from premium grade K-leather, which provides a quilted and luxurious feel. The stitch lines in the upper enhance the sense of touch, while the Wave technology enhances the stability in the heel and distributes pressure for the best comfort on the pitch. One of the only alterations in this remake is found in the heel, with Mizuno changing the heel liner. So instead of the old synthetic material, the suede texture found in the new Morelia Neo III is applied to provide a better fit.

A total of 3000 pairs of the new Morelia Wave 'Rebuild' football boots will be available, of which 1000 are for the Japanese market only.
