Nike Drop The Phantom GT II 'Shockwave'

The Nike Phantom GT II arrives in its second solo outing of the season, with a “Black/Metallic Platinum/Green Strike” colourway presented in an eye catching new graphic inspired by shockwave patterns keeping things feeling fresh as we edge towards the darker months of winter.

The Phantom GT II began the season by breaking away from Nike’s regular lineup for the ‘UV’ release, which dropped back at the end of August. Now it freshens up its solo look once more, with a wild graphic that’s inspired by the pattern emitted by a shockwave. Presented across a mainly green look, accented by black, its yet another unique look for the Phantom GT II that a select few pros will lace up in.

The Phantom GT II UV is available in both a low-cut variation alongside the collared Dynamic Fit version. Aside from that collar, both boots are exactly the same, arriving with a new Generative Texture in the upper, refining its predecessor’s data-driven design to provide enhanced touch and control. The reworked chevron pattern generates increased spin.

Having somewhat snuck onto the scene as part of the ‘Renew Pack’ back in back in July, Nike are now fully leveraging the next generation of Phantom GT, allowing it to branch out and solidify its standing within the wider Swoosh setup.
