Arriving as the second drop in the ‘Blueprint Pack’, Nike launch the Phantom GT II, which takes the orange colouring that featured on the Swoosh of the Mercurial and just runs wild with it.
The ‘Blueprint’ Mercurial Superfly 8 and Vapor 14 dropped back in January as the first on pitch release of 2022 from Nike. But curiously they arrived alone, with no sign of the other two key silos in the Swoosh setup. Now we get a belated second instalment in the ‘Blueprint Pack’ with the arrival of the Phantom GT II. Still no sign of the Tiempo though…
So the Phantom GT II here adopts a vibrant "Laser Orange/Black/Total Orange" colourway that ties in with the hint of orange found on the Swoosh of the Mercurial. The two tones of orange offer up definition in the form of the Phantom's strong line design, with the Swoosh standing out in a contrasting black. Hits of blue then flash through the upper, ensuring this option is again linked to the Mercurial and offering a through line of connectivity that binds the 'Blueprint Pack' together. Just the Tiempo to go then...
