Diadora Drop The Brasil & B-Elite In Opposing "Silver/Anthracite" Colourways

Arriving with a spring/summer refresh of both their traditional and progressive silos, Italian craft masters Diadora drop the classic Brasil and B-Elite models in switch up colourways of “Silver/Anthracite”.

Diadora have found the perfect balance between serving up tradition and progression with their current line up of Brasil and B-Elite. Now, having provided special colourways that pay homage to Marco Van Basten and George Weah, the Italian brand present seasonal updates to the pair, with the “Silver/Anthracite” colourway on the Brasil being inverted for the B-Elite.

For those not familiar, the Brasil is the model that players such as Baggio, and the aforementioned Van Basten and Weah scooped the Bacon d’Or in, the brand boasting the players that all but dominated the prestigious award from the late eighties through to the mid nineties. It comes with the hallmark of quality that is ‘Made in Italy’ – a sign of the fact it has been crafted by experts of the trade in one of the homelands of quality boot construction.

Here it’s wrapped in a silvery base with the anthracite colouring flashing down through the brand logo on the side of the boot.

That colour combo is then inverted for the B-Elite, with the Anthracite base accented by pops of silver. The B-Elite takes the essence of the Brasil – the comfort and performance – and combines it with some modern tech, most notably in the underside of the boot. The new soleplate extends into an external heel counter for stability, while teardrop studs offer traction for straight line speed. As well as that though, their shape also allows for rotation for quick cuts and turns.

So altogether you get the premium and timeless leather upper – quilted at the vamp for a perfect touch – combined with the modern performance of the new soleplate, all wrapped up in a new premium paint job.
