The next evolutionary step for PUMA’s Future silo arrives in the form of the Future DNA: a next generation update that improves on all aspects of the boot’s performance, enhancing the abilities of playmakers such as Neymar, who will be one of the first to wear it on pitch.

As the main man for the future silo, it’s no surprise that we’ve already seen Neymar testing out a blacked out prototype of this boot back in August. Now we get to see it in what is a limited, early edition take of the next generation of the silo, known simply as the Future DNA. Set to be worn by both Neymar and Julia Grosso, it brings to the table the requisite upgrades that you’d expect, improving fit and performance.

So, first up what we get with the Future DNA is the first appearance of the completely reengineered FUZIONFIT360 upper, with its combination of PWRTAPE technology – which gives the boot that callout zigzag look – engineered dual mesh, and stretchy knit that combines to offer an even more adaptive, even more supportive fit. Then, engineered 3D textures at key contact zones are optimised to enhance ball grip and control during passing, dribbling, and finishing.

Stable at the heel and flexible at the forefoot, on the underside the second-generation Dynamic Motion System outsole provides traction and agility for unpredictable changes of pace and direction.

Upgrades aplenty for playmakers to enjoy in 2023.
