Diadora Release The Brasil Classico In 4 Colourways

Offering up the class and tradition of the original Brasil boot, but at a more accessible price point, Italian craft masters Diadora present the Brasil Classico, which arrives on the scene in a choice of four colour ways.

It’s all well and good dreaming of being – or even playing a little bit like – the pros, but let’s be realistic: a boot will only get you so far. Sadly, for most of us the heady heights of the grassroots game are as good as it’s ever going to get, and at that level, the key things you want from a boot are comfort and a decent level of performance without having to remortgage your house when you need a new pair. To that end, Diadora introduces the Brasil Classico to its repertoire – a cut price version of its iconic Brasil silo that still offers a great fit and feel, and it’s initially available in a range of four colour options, all of which carry an air of tradition fitting of the OG.

The Diadora Brasil is an icon of the game, worn by the likes of legends and Ballon d’Or winners such as Roberto Baggio, George Weah and Marco Van Basten over the years. It’s such a perfect boot that it’s still going strong today. But that level of premium comes with a matching price tag – all well and good and worth every penny, but let’s face it, that’s beyond some of us. That’s why Diadora have introduced the Brasil Classico, a natural rival to the likes of the Nike Premier and the adidas Gloro.

The Brasil Classico still boasts an ultra soft and classic leather construction (something the Premier will be veering away from in the not too distant future), and it also features a nice fold over tongue, complete with elastic strap to keep in in place. On the underside, a traditional 12-stud soleplate offers reliable traction. No messing, no frills, just a proper quality boot that comes with a historic DNA, and all available for £100. Can’t argue with that.
