New Balance Give Eberechi Eze His First Ever Signature Boot

Inspired by Eberechi Eze’s journey to reach his goals, New Balance have unveiled the Furon v7 ‘Starraiser’ edition, the Crystal Palace player’s first ever signature edition boot.

New Balance don’t hold back with the signature edition boots for its roster of players, with the likes of Sadio Mane, Raheem Sterling, Bukayo Saka and Harvey Elliott all getting their own individual designs in recent years. Now its the turn of Eberechi Eze, with the Crystal Palace attacker getting his own look, inspired by his beginnings in life, being born and raised in Greenwich, home of the Royal Observatory.

Eze joined New Balance back in April 2021, and two years in he gets his first signature style. The design takes its cues from star constellations, representing Eze’s journey to professional football and his future path. The navy base features the green accents all over, and this glows in the dark. The insoles callout Eze’s mentality and relentless dedication, referring to a tweet he composed in 2013, which stated “I know I’m going to get there” and “I know I’m going to do this”. The lace aglets then read “Strength” and “Honour”, taken from Bruin FC’s crest (Eze’s first junior team).

Expect Eze to be wearing these in his upcoming games.
