PUMA Launch The King Ultimate In Classic Colourway

Bringing a traditional vibe to a boot with some classic heritage, PUMA release the King Ultimate in a pleasing “Puma Black/Puma White/Fire Orchid” colourway, ready for the return of football and a gruelling preseason.

Only the weird ones among us look forward to preseason – the beastings and all out fitness. But it’s offset by getting to kick a ball about again, and that can be sweetened further by a new pair of boots. And PUMA have just delivered in that respect, wrapping the King Ultimate in a classic colourway that sees a black base with white accents. Sure, there’s a flash of red in there, but that’s more reserved for the inner, representing that additional bit of flair.

The King Ultimate represents a revolutionary step for both brand and silo, boasting a K-Better upper in place of K-leather. It’s an innovative, environmentally conscious upper material that looks like leather, feels like leather and plays like leather. All that and it’s more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Recycled from industrial waste, The K-Better material is a synthetic, non-animal base that boasts the same softness as K-leather, whilst being 30 percent thinner, twice as stretchy, providing a better fit for longer, and 10 times more durable.

The stitch-less upper is joined by a knitted collar and an external heel cup, all combining to ensure a locked down fit. On the underside, an all-new soleplate has been created, featuring a torsion spine and classic conical studs.
