PUMA Reveal The 'Breakthrough Pack'

Ready for this summer’s Women’s World Cup and beyond, PUMA launch the ‘Breakthrough Pack’, with unifying colour ways for the Future Ultimate, King Ultimate and an all-new Ultra Ultimate.

While we await the return of domestic action, this summer will see all attention on the International game and the pitches of Australia and New Zealand as the women’s game descends upon the land Down Under for the 2023 World Cup. And with the kick off of that competition now under a month away, PUMA reveals its hand with the ‘Breakthrough Pack’, wrapping the Future Ultimate, King Ultimate and all-new Ultra Ultimate in corresponding colour ways.

Starting with the latest upgrade for the Ultra Ultimate, which arrives in a “Puma White/Fire Orchid” paint job, and for the first time on this silo it sees the introduction of PWRTAPE technology, a staple on the Future Ultimate. Only difference here is that it’s positioned on the inside of the boot, providing more structure and stability.

There’s also a new soleplate in position on the underside, providing further lightweight speed and traction that the Ultra is renowned for.

The Future Ultimate then takes on the same "Puma White/Fire Orchid" colourway, with the white base acting as the base, with the red hues rocking through that signature PWRTAPE down each side of the boot. The studs then feature the flash of red, while the branding also takes on the same colour. Nothing new tech-wise here, so a case of as you were.

And the same can be said for the King Ultimate, which stands out as the odd one out of the pack in a "Silver Sky/Puma Black/Fire Orchid" colourway. Here, the Silver Sky is the base colour, while the connecting thread of the pack that is the Fire Orchid is seriously restricted, appearing only internally, on a strip on the soleplate, and through a gradient on the Formstripe.

So, expect to see all three boots at the World Cup and beyond, as players return to domestic duty for preseason.
