Once again ramping up its influence in the game, Under Armour equip its growing roster of players with the all-new next generation Clone Magnetico 3.0, which arrives in two colourways; one for the premium pitches of the world, and another for a more lowkey vibe.

While Under Armour has never gone away, its probably fair to say that its influence in the game had diminished somewhat over the last few years. Now though, with a growing roster of players that includes the ever-present Trent Alexander-Arnold alongside new recruits such as Ollie Watkins and Alex Greenwood, the American brand look to ramp up their influence, rolling out the next generation of its longest-lasting silo, the Clone Magnetico.

On to its third instalment, the Clone Magnetico 3.0 is initially presented in two distinct colourways: a predominantly red look, which switches out the accent colours dependent on whether it’s the men’s or women’s specific fit, and a black and silver look that’s likely to be a firm favourite in the grassroots game. The former will be the on-pitch look that’ll be worn by the likes of Alexander-Arnold, Watkins and Greenwood, leaving the black pair as the option for those who prefer a more understated look.

Tech-wise, the Clone Magnetico 3 adapts to your foot's shape and movements for a customised fit and locked-in feel. This is achieved in the most part through the UA Clone upper, which is complemented by an internal layer of flexible, auxetic material that moulds around the foot for a precise, glove-like fit and feel.

The improvements in the upper construction also include an updated collar for ease of entry, as well as a 3D moulded heel, increasing that locked-in fit

There’s also a new and innovative soleplate, designed to enhance the foot's ability to accelerate, and it features a combination of bladed and conical studs for optimum traction.

A new chapter for Under Armour, emphasised by an expanding roster of players equipped with the impressive new Clone Magnetico 3. Exciting times.
