Clean and pure, adidas drop the ‘Polar Victory’ pack, with whiteout options for the Predator 25, F50 and Copa Pure III landing in stark contrast to the ‘Stealth Victory’ pack.
Where there’s one, there’s another. Following last week’s blackout ‘Stealth Victory’ pack, adidas provide the whiteout ‘Polar Victory’ pack. It’s a clever bit of naming, with the double meaning of Polar at once nodding to the snowy climates of the polar ice caps, but also cleverly alluding to the complete opposite of the ‘Stealth Victory look. That black out pack was embellished by red accents throughout, while here, the white is joined by hits of blue, opposing the red and also promoting the icy feel of the boots.
It’s a pristine presentation all round, and it’s particularly peachy on the Predator 24, which comes in the largely favoured fold-over tongue variation. The largely white base is joined by the blue hits through the rubber elements in the StrikeSkin, and through the “Predator” callout on the elastic that keep the tongue down.
The F50 looks as clean as it ever has, with those blue hits playing through the branding whilst being particularly effective in the soleplate, where it gives off a stripped back almost skeletal feel.
Finally, the plushness of the COPA Pure III is exemplified once again in the pure white, with nothing to distract from that signature cushioned forefoot. Subtle blue accents dance across the upper, mainly through the branding, but it’s used less than with the other two, leaving the COPA to really lean into that fresh feel. How long will they stay that colour? Probably not long, but they’ll sure look good to start with!
