Under Armour are slithering to the top with a brand-new drop. The ‘Pitch Viper’ re-designs the Shadow Elite silo using snake-skin visuals, bringing a threatening aesthetic to the pitch.
Under Armour have unveiled one of the most striking designs of the year with the ‘Pitch Viper’. The popular Shadow Elite 3.0 silo sees updated visuals for a limited edition drop. UA are looking to bring a menacing look to the pitch with a boot that draws inspiration from one of the most dangerous snakes around – the Pit Viper. Playing on the name, ‘Pitch Viper’ fashions a snake-skin pattern across the upper in an electric “Aero Pink/Rebel Pink/Metallic Silver” colourway.
In the insole, a vivid pink Pit Viper is wrapped around the esteemed Under Armour logo, adding some extra detailing to the design. Another sign of branding is shining in metallic silver on the lateral side of the heel of the boot. The full-length composite construction soleplate, built to optimise speed and responsiveness, models a distinct pattern perfectly pairing with the lightweight upper.
The Pitch Viper is a very limited drop, with only 1200 units available for purchase. It will be worn by the likes of Fermin Lopez and Laura Freigang in their upcoming games. This boot is sure to bring a dangerous look to the football pitch. Watch out defenders...
