adidas & J.League Release The KOTOHOGI 30 Anniversary Ball

1993 saw the beginning of the J.League, and to commemorate the its 30th anniversary, adidas have produced the “KOTOHOGI 30” – a special edition match ball that’s set to be used for a limited time.

adidas have unveiled the "KOTOHOGI 30" — a limited edition ball designed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the J.League. The ball will be used as the official match ball of the 2023 MEIJI YASUDA J.LEAGUE for a limited period of one month — from the J.League 30th Anniversary Match on Friday, 12 May to Sunday, 11 June.

The ball design is ocean-inspired, with red, white, and black colours that are primary to the J.League. Design details celebrate the league’s clubs with gold-coloured labelling, while also adopting the Japanese traditional pattern which expresses good health and protection from bad luck.

Look out for the adidas KOTOHOGI 30 on pitch from 12 May.
