Best Moments From The First Week Of The T90's Return To The Premier League

The Total 90-inspired Nike ball made its triumphant debut last week, and it did not disappoint. From freekicks to diving headers and curling finishes, it was everything we could’ve imagined and more. Nostalgia at its finest. We have picked out some of the best moments from the week with the iconic ball, let’s have a look.

Jarrod Bowen Goal vs Arsenal

In a must-win game for Arsenal, Jarrod Bowen thrusted the Hammers into the lead with an impressive diving header. Even Van Persie would be proud. Being the only goal of the game, West Ham went on to collect a huge 3 points, chipping away at any title hopes for the Gunners.

Mo Salah Goal vs Manchester City

The T90 design provided Mo Salah with his 30th goal of the season in all competitions. Ridiculous stats. This goal led Liverpool to their first win at the Etihad in over a decade. Great day for the Egyptian king.

Manchester United Comeback vs Everton

A game reminiscent of an 04/05 match-up. A gritty fight at Goodison Park gave us a modern day throwback of the Rooney derby. United crawled back from 2-0 down to gain a point, courtesy of a Bruno wonder freekick and Ugarte volley. Two unbelievable strikes. Something about Bruno Fernandes scoring a freekick with that ball just seems so right.

Mitoma Goal vs Southampton

The streets are calling him prime Messi. He is living up to the name. A player in fantastic form turns up once again in a 4-0 thrashing of the Saints. A lovely run finished with a dink over the keeper. Stunning.

Marcus Rashford Performance vs Chelsea

Marcus Rashford redemption arc is in full play. 45 minutes. Two assists. Job done. It's great to see the man gaining some form and confidence back. A pacey winger full of skills dribbling with a T90 ball, bringing me back that young CR7 nostalgia.

Mattheus Cunha Goal vs Bournemouth

The Brazilian netted the iconic ball in a massive win against an in-form Bournemouth side. Moments we love to see in the Premier League. Will we see Cunha at a top six side in the near future? Imagine the class he could bring to European football.

Alexander Isak Penalty vs Nottingham Forest

Cold. Penalty placed straight down the middle of the goal. A celebration laughing at the keeper. That's a man with confidence.

Dejan Kulusevski Goal vs Ipswich

In a dominating Spurs performance, Kulu put the final nail in the coffin with a beautiful curling finish with that wonder left foot we see so often. Those iconic blue rings curling into the bottom corner – a lovely sight.
